What is a Capacity Reserve?
Every month we set aside a share of our team’s time for your site. You pay one flat fee for it. Because the time is already booked, we can start your work right away.
How is this different from paying by the hour?
There are no hours to count or approve. You never have to ask what a small change will cost. We never stop work to fill in a timesheet. You pay the same amount each month.
What if we have no work for you one month?
Your time still gets used. When your list is empty, we make the site faster and clean up old code. That keeps it easier to build on later.
Who will we be working with?
You get two people. A Technical Account Manager (TAM) and a Lead Developer.
Your TAM is who you talk to. Send them the work, the questions, and anything urgent. They plan what gets built and in what order, and they make sure the right person picks it up. You never have to work out who to chase.
Your Lead Developer does the building. The same developer stays with your site, so they learn how it was built and you never have to explain it twice. If you want to talk through technical detail, your TAM will bring them into the conversation.
Will our site get passed between different developers?
No. One developer is assigned to your site and stays with it. They learn how it was built, so you never have to explain it twice.
Do you work on sites other than WordPress?
Yes. We work on WordPress, WooCommerce, and other web apps. The program suits any site your work depends on.
Are prices in Canadian dollars? Do they include GST?
Prices are in Canadian dollars. They do not include GST.
What if we need more than the Premium plan?
We can build a custom plan. Email us at info@wearepixel.ca and we will work out what fits.
How is this different from your WordPress Maintenance plan?
Our WordPress Maintenance plans keep a site safe, updated, and running well. Platform Management does all of that too. It also adds a team that knows your site, plus time set aside each month to build new things.
If your site is steady and only needs looking after, pick a maintenance plan. If your site is a big part of how you work, and you have plans for it, pick Platform Management.
