Pixel is seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Specialist to join our team. As a WordPress Support Specialist, you will handle support tickets from our WordPress Maintenance Plan (WMP). To excel in this role, you should be a skilled multitasker, able to manage your time effectively while providing high-quality support and solutions to our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Execute Pixel’s WMP product and features, following the defined schedule and tasks provided by the WMP manager.
- Execute tickets including requests such as content updates, plugin troubleshooting, layout adjustments (via a page builder), performance issues, form errors, or full site outages.
- Provide feedback on the WMP product and execution, working closely with the WMP Manager and other colleagues.
- Monitor and support site and server downtime, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
- Manage work-related tickets and projects using digital project management tools.
- Contribute to the improvement of our support processes and documentation.
- Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress features, plugins, and best practices to provide accurate and efficient solutions.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in WordPress support or web development roles.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes and plugins.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Hours Compensation
- 20–25hrs/week, to be completed between Monday–Friday 9am to 4pm MST.
- 1 week paid vacation time (which is then increased to 2 weeks after the first year) + all statutory and civic holidays.
- $25/hr paid every 2 weeks via direct deposit.

- Hardware: We’ll outfit you with a MacBook Pro, a couple Monitors, Keyboard and Mouse of your choice. The computer is yours to take home and bring back.
- Inflation-Adjusted Salary: At the beginning of the first pay run after November 1st each year, we adjust all salaries for inflation based on the CPI from September of the previous year to September of the current year. This adjustment applies once an employee has been with Pixel for six months.
